October 26, 1930	It could be done, if Big Business would PREMIT IT, or if those who have the power could be made to realize that higher wages mean greater properity.    TWENTY-SEVEN dollars a day minimum, EIGHT hours a day, FIVE days a week, may not become reality next year or the year after.    Many things that any man can imagine in the way of comfort, prosperity, good pay and happiness, could be made reality, with injury to none, and BENEFIT TO ALL.    “The basis of prosperity is the ability of the public to buy.” says William Randolph Hearst in his analysis of our present depression.    To increase buying power is to increase the welfare of every citizen.
