June 22, 1930	This small boy, studying in the public school TODAY, is TOMORROW’S HOPE OF THE NATION.    And his little sister, studying on the bench nearby, is the hope of the future, she is the mother of America’s future.    The light that radiates from this child, at work in the public school, is the light of civilization, of hope, of prosperous industry, of new ideas. IT IS THE LIGHT OF AMERICA.    This nation, founded on passionate love of liberty, on detestation of tyranny from across the ocean, has produced magnificent results.    None of them is superior, no other of them is EQUAL to the glorious American public school.
