| October 29, 1929 | Wishing,
we come into the world. Wishing, we go through life. Wishing that we had done better and that we might begin again, we LEAVE life, plunging over the brink into the darkness that is mystery. “IF ONLY I COULD LIVE MY LIFE OVER AGAIN.” Millions have wished, and said it. Millions wish and say it now. We see opportunities when they are past, we realize mistakes after they have been made. And, in useless wishing WE WASTE ENERGY THAT MIGHT BE USED TO REDEEM THE PAST. The past is GONE, wishing accomplishes nothing. Our only hope is in using well what time remains. |
